During Tuesday morning’s press conference, as followed by the Rangers Twitter account, Steven Gerrard previewed Wednesday night’s fixture against Hearts.
The Gers are winless in five matches heading into the fixture but showed great spirit in the second half of Sunday’s Old Firm.
Alfredo Morelos is out through suspension. He is likely to be replaced by either Jermain Defoe or Kyle Lafferty.
However, Gerrard also raised concerns about selection in another area.
“Missing two players at Left-back is a bit of a concern but we have a big enough squad to manage”, he said, as quoted by the
Rangers Twitter.
Borna Barisic is out with a hamstring injury, while Andy Halliday is also suspended.

Who will come in?
Gerrard realistically has two players to choose from – Lee Wallace and Jon Flanagan.
Both players are effectively frozen out at the minute, with just one appearance between them in 2019.
Wallace is a proven performer and Scotland international full-back. However, ever since his alleged altercation with Graeme Murty last season, it seems the club have intentionally sidelined him.
Flanagan, meanwhile, played himself into his current predicament. He was given ample opportunity to impress over the first half of the season, but continually failed to deliver when filling in at left-back.
If this was a purely footballing question, which it should be, Wallace would get the nod every time.
Yet, while Wallace is shunned, Flanagan makes the bench with regularity.
Therefore, the ex-Liverpool man is most likely to get the nod from Gerrard on Wednesday night.
