Standard Liege have reportedly named their price for Rangers-linked midfielder Nicolas Raskin as the Ibrox side close in on their second signing of the window.
According to reports, the Gers have already secured a four-and-a-half year deal for the out-of-contract 21-year-old which would see him move to Ibrox in the summer regardless of Standard’s stance.
But it is believed Rangers are working to bring Nicolas Raskin to the club this summer with the Gers reportedly having an initial “six-figure” bid rejected for the player.
Despite this, the Herald and Chris Jack are claiming that Standard want €1m for the player, or around £870k, a surprise amount given how highly the player has been rated in Belgium.
With this, the reputable journalist believes that a deal is expected to be done and Rangers fans will be excited to add the Belgian youth international after already signing Todd Cantwell from Norwich.

If Rangers can meet the Nicolas Raskin asking price, expect the midfielder to be in the door before the end of the window but for now it remains unclear if the Standard star will be in on time for the St Johnstone game.
Ibrox manager Michael Beale has previously been fielded questions about Nicolas Raskin and is expected to be grilled again when the Englishman faces the media ahead of the Premiership clash this weekend.
“A player I remember a lot from the time we played Standard Liege [in October 2020 in the Europa League],” said Beale.
“He missed the first game against Rangers that night when Kemar Roofe scored that amazing goal but he played in the second leg.
“He is a player I am aware of, a very good player who is obviously out of contract in the summer and is attracting a lot of attention. There is an interest from us but I am sure there is from a number of clubs.”
