In an interview quoted by the Gazette, Simeon Jackson says he believes St Mirren were hard done by at the weekend.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock since then, you’ll know that the Gers were awarded four penalties by referee, Andrew Dallas.
Despite former Premier League referee, Dermot Gallagher, affirming on Sky Sports News that all but one were correctly given, others still dispute the calls.

Kilmarnock manager, Steve Clarke got involved yesterday, angering Steven Gerrard.
Jackson not convinced on penalty calls
Now, St Mirren striker, Simeon Jackson, has spoken out.
“I’ll be honest, I’ve only had this once before”, said the 49-cap international, via the Gazette.
“It was Canada against Macedonia away. There were four pens given – two for us, two for them. The ref got done for match fixing shortly after that. Do what you want to do with that.”
That’s a pretty outlandish comment to make.

He wasn’t done there, though.
“For me, personally, I can’t see them”, Jackson continued.
“If you can say one, yeah maybe. But even then, with how we played, keeping the ball the way we did and having a fair amount of possession.”
It seems the striker is inferring there was something in the game for The Buddies, had the referee not intervened.
That’s a tad fanciful.

Not only have experts corroborated that the referee applied the laws of the game correctly, the visitors didn’t even muster a shot on target.
There seems to be a lot of finger pointing and not an awful lot of introspection here.
If you don’t want to concede penalties, don’t repeatedly commit clear fouls in and around the box.
It’s that simple.
