Fans urged to get involved with sporting charity event for ex-star

Special charity golf event to be held for David Hagen

A special charity golf event is to be held in Falkirk for ex-Ger and Motor Neurone Disease sufferer David Hagen.
The event, which is being organised by fans, will take place at the Falkirk Tryst Golf Club on the 16th of June. The event costs £40 per person and includes an 18 hole game with a meal afterwards. All proceeds raised will go the Hagen family.
Whilst the event planning is in its infancy, the event organisers are trying their best to get the information out there for this very worthy cause. They want to get an idea of interest early on.

Organisers planning a special day for David Hagen

David Hagen is an ex-Rangers, Hearts and Falkirk player and he needs financial assistance with his care. Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a degenerative condition which wears muscles away over time.
In order for David to get the most out of his life, he needs help and support. At the same time, this highlights the condition and helps people find out more about it.
The organisers have contacted all three of the clubs Hagen was connected to. They are hopeful they can secure some signed memorabilia or even involve ex-players, but nothing is confirmed as of yet.

It’s not the first event of its kind to raise money for ex-midfielder Hagen.
Rangers sent their development side up to Falkirk to play a Bairns/Jambos XI back in October.
The Charity Golf Event promises to be a great day out, and will also mean the world to David and his family.
David Hagen played with Rangers from 1992-94, during the 91AR years, where he made 16 league appearances. Hagen would then go on to sign for Hearts and make over 100 appearances for Falkirk.
