South American sports outlet Casa Blanca are claiming that Rangers have agreed an £18m (€20m) deal with Lille over the sale of striker Alfredo Morelos.
The account is adamant Rangers and Morelos have “reached an agreement with Lille” and comes after a spate of reports across the Atlantic suggested the same last week.

The Casa Blanca tweet reads:
“Alfredo Morelos reached an agreement with Lille. The 24-year-old Colombian attacker will leave Rangers after 3 seasons. His signing is a big bet from Lille, which paid around about €20,000,000 for the services of the coffee striker. Will he shine in France?”
These claims come after a trio of South American journalists working across several different channels claimed that Rangers star Morelos was set to move to Lille in an £18m deal last week.
WinSportsTV journalist Carlos Aleman was the first to claim the ball was rolling on a potential deal between Rangers and Lille.
Then fellow WinSportsTV journalist Pepe Sierra claimed Morelos had “formally requested” to leave Rangers as an £18m (€20m) bid landed from the Ligue 1 side.

Yanjane Meneses G. – another Colombian journalist this time working for Caracol – then claimed “it is a fact” that the parties had agreed an £18m and expected the details to be ironed out by Friday.
However, journalists in Scotland claimed that Rangers were still waiting for Lille to make an improved bid [Glasgow Times].
Morelos was also an unused substitute in Rangers’ 2-0 win over Hamilton at the weekend as he was recalled to the side after being dropped for displaying attitude problems the week previously.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard answered “don’t know” when asked about the player’s immediate future at the weeked but claimed “where we stand right now, I expect to see him after the international break”.
