The fall-out over a cowardly Slavia Prague player racially abusing Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara has plunged to disgusting depths as the Czech club continue to behave contemptibly.
Considered a national embarrassment to the Czech Republic, Slavia refused to apologise to either Kamara or any of the Rangers players abused by their fans, and now they’ve pressed criminal charges against the midfielder.

According to Slavia, Kamara physically assaulted their racist centre-back defender Ondřej Kúdela after he verbally assaulted him with a racial slur.
Slavia have been pushing this message ever since the early hours of this morning and appeared to indirectly threaten Rangers with these charges such was the reputational damage of the knuckle-dragging racism exuded by one of their key players.
Rangers aren’t budging and as a result, they’re doubling down.
“SK Slavia Prague filed criminal complaint to Scottish police through the Embassy of the Czech Republic in London for physical assault on player Ondřej Kúdela,” reads their cowardly statement.
“Physical assault on Ondřej Kúdela was prepared and deliberate act which included covering of cameras on the site of the incident. The assault was brutal and carried out with the full force with the intention to hurt and cause physical harm to our player.
“In the text, the names of people who witnessed the incident are stated, including UEFA representatives and Rangers FC manager Mr. Steven Gerrard.”
By refusing to properly challenge Kúdela’s behaviour this pathetic football club have all but endorsed it from top to bottom.
They continue to single out a black man needlessly abused by a player who – it is becoming increasingly clear – is a perfect match for this contemptible club.
It’s not the first time they’ve targeted someone for having the audacity to be racially abused by one of their representatives either.
Romelu Lukaku knows all about these bullying tactics after their fans abused the player during a Champions League tie and Slavia demanded he apologise afterwards [Sky Sports].

These guys are the problem and until UEFA stand up to the likes of Slavia Prague and their backwards approach to football and society, then there’s no chance this is going to change.
Over to you, UEFA.
Rangers fans are standing in solidarity with their midfielder and continue to support Glen Kamara in what must be a spectacularly challenging time for the player.
