Many Rangers fans might not know who Jarrod Bowen is, but you can bet plenty of Premier League clubs are starting to take notice of the Hull City forward.
Bowen has hit 14 goals in the Championship and it has generated plenty of talk surrounding Aston Villa and Newcastle United moving for the right-winger-come-striker.
But with the 22-year-old’s contract running down at the KC Stadium, could Rangers swoop come May?
According to BBC Sport, Bowen’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
But according to Hull Live, Hull City have offered the player a new deal, and even have the option of an extension they can trigger before March.
That said, it’s clear the Hull City forward is beginning to outgrow his surroundings in the English second tier.
Whilst the likes of the Magpies and the Villians can offer the glamour of the Premier League, Rangers offer something different entirely.
Whilst both the Newcastle and Birmingham sides are amongst the biggest in northern England, neither hold realistic ambitions to challenge for silverware.
There’s also the prospect of European and even Champions League football in the coming seasons at Ibrox.
