Rangers star Scott Arfield will have helped to put Rangers’ fans mind’s at ease with his answer to questions about his future.
The Canadian captain has been in superb form recently and is fast becoming one of the most important players for the club. Naturally, it has other sides hovering.
But Scott Arfield is adamant he’s going nowhere. In an interview with Ladbrokes, he also says he’s “so happy” in Glasgow.

When asked about where he sees his future, Arfield simply says “here”.
“I’ve got a four-year contract here, I want to win trophies here,” said Arfield. “I came back up the road to do that, that was my sole objective at the start of the season.
“It didn’t happen this year but there’s three years left on that contract to run and I’m here and loving life back in Scotland.”
The midfielder is clearly relishing playing for Rangers and you can see in the interview just how excited he is about the future at Ibrox.

But Steven Gerrard said in a press conference that sometimes these decisions go above the manager and player’s heads. It would be a real shame if Arfield had to move on, he’s the exact kind of player you want in the trenches.
Rangers signed Arfield as his contract expired with Burnley at the end of last season.
