There were few moments to remember for Ibrox flop Eduardo Herrera in a Rangers kit but the Mexican striker appears to have found one worthy of resharing.
Taking to Twitter, Eddie Herrera shared a video of a backheel flick – arguably the highlight of his Rangers tenure – against Kilmarnock back in October 2017.
The throwback tweet is bad enough when you consider just how woeful Herrera’s spell in Scotland was, but it’s also the night of the result which saw Pedro Caixinha sacked.
Herrera’s backheel flick is from the 1-1 draw with Kilmarnock in October 2017 which sealed Caixinha’s fate and saw the Portuguese boss sacked the next day.
So not only has Herrera made light of his nightmare spell in Scotland by sharing this utterly ridiculous flash of skill, but he’s indirectly rubbed it in the face of the man who brought him here.
It’s something which Rangers fans haven’t missed who’ve been suitably sarcastic in their response to the big striker.

Eduardo Herrera joined Rangers for a reported £1.5m back in 2017 when the club was under the stewardship of Pedro Caixinha.
But things didn’t work out for Eddie – much like they didn’t for Pedro – and the Mexican international managed only two goals in 24 appearances.

Herrera was then shipped out on loan to Santos Laguna and Nexaca of Mexico, before joining Puebla on a permanent basis in January.
