Alfredo Morelos’ goal against Hearts sent plenty into meltdown.
The Colombian striker seems to be a figure of contempt for rivals fans across Scotland. For Rangers fans, he’s verging on becoming a club icon.
His offside goal has been met with derision but the striker is on fire at the moment. That’s him netted in seven consecutive Scottish Premiership games. If he gets another against Aberdeen, he’ll have smashed the record for scoring in consecutive matches played.

Needless to say, many took to Twitter yesterday to vent their fury at the decision to let the goal stand. Despite deliberately ignoring the wide array of other refereeing cock-ups in the match, many couldn’t hold back their frustration against the striker.
There were plenty just taking a pop at him too.
Not that he’ll care. Alfredo Morelos is the toast of Govan whilst someone from Gorgie or Glasgow’s Eastend has a meltdown over their keyboard.
Here, we look at the best Twitter meltdowns surrounding Alfredo Morelos and/or his “offside” goal. Popcorn at the ready.
Enjoy.

And we’ll save the best for last.
He’s a popular boy is Alfredo Morelos. Scottish football can’t seem to get enough of him.
