A tweet from Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst was jumped on by Celtic fans who appeared desperate to crack wise about the Ibrox club’s “pocket manager”.
The Dutch coach was promoting his involvement with SEGA Pocket Club Manager – a handheld football management game – where players can add the Rangers boss to their team.
This was met with Celtic fans hijacking the tweet to make jokes about the Rangers manager’s stature with ongoing online jibes surrounding the Dutchman’s height.
But the entire thing makes absolutely no sense given that van Bronckhorst – listed as 1.78m or 5ft10 on Google – is exactly the same height as Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou. We’re not joking.

Perhaps with Ange they haven’t quite picked up his size due to the fact he’s more than a couple of shirt-sizes bigger than Rangers’ Dutch coach van Bronckhorst.
But unless the Parkhead support are inadvertently insulting their very own second coming, we’re not sure the point they’re trying to make here.
Rangers’ van Bronckhorst goes head to head with Celtic rival
Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst joined the club in November following the exit of Steven Gerrard to Aston Villa and the Premier League.
Despite a solid start to life under the Dutchman Rangers stuttered after the restart of the winter break and two draws and a defeat see Gio now trail Postecoglou by a point in the title race.
With plenty of football still to be played, Rangers will be ruing missed opportunities to put this campaign out of site with the Ibrox and Celtic Park sides very much in a title race.
Whatever happens, this campaign has plenty of twist and turns to come just yet and whilst Celtic supporters might be enjoying their stint at the top of the league for now, there’s plenty of time for that change.

It’s not the first time Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Celtic rival Ange Postecoglou have made headlines together either.
The two caused some confusion amid Old Firm supporters when they were snapped having a conversation in a Glasgow café together.
Meanwhile, doubts surround a “very special” Rangers Dortmund reunion amid injury problems surrounding one half of a reported £100m duo.
