Championship club Charlton have withdrawn a contract offer to reported Rangers target, Lyle Taylor.
The Addicks striker has hit seven goals in 13 appearances this season and his contract expires at the Valley come the end of the campaign.
Now 29, Taylor’s goalscoring form over the last two seasons is said to be interesting the likes of Rangers and several Championship clubs.

Taylor was first linked to the Ibrox club in December [Sky Sports] as reports claimed Rangers had been alerted to his circumstances.
Charlton were clearly hopeful of signing the former Falkirk and Partick Thistle on a new deal.
But negotiations now appear to have broken down to the point the club have withdrawn the offer.
The South London Press is also claiming Charlton will now consider offers for the player in the January transfer window instead of losing him for nothing in the summer.
Rangers are of course well-equipped upfront but numerous reports have linked the club to a variety of strikers over the last week.
Alfredo Morelos is the club’s number one choice and his 28 goals have been supplemented by veteran backup Jermain Defoe, who has hit 14.
If Rangers are interested, would Lyle Taylor be happy with the prospect of battling with the two red-hot strikers for a place in Gerrard’s team?
