Ex-Rangers loanee and Man United winger Amad Diallo has began to find his feet with Sunderland as the striker nets his second goal in three games for the Black Cats.
The Ivorian 20-year-old had been used as a substitute this season but has started the last three games for the Stadium of Light club, managing to score twice.
The first strike came in a 4-2 defeat to Burnley with the most recent effort coming in the club’s 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town.
Amad Diallo even took to Instagram in the wake of the victory to send a tweet to Sunderland supporters with the youngster hitting form.
It’s a bright run of form for the kid who has taken his time to settle at Sunderland following his summer loan move from Man United, which came amid links to Rangers.
Ex-Rangers winger Amad Diallo finding form with Sunderland
Rangers signed Amad Diallo on a six-month loan deal in January last season but the youngster struggled to find consistency and minutes after joining up with the Ibrox squad.
It wasn’t until the latter stage of his stint at Rangers did it appear that Amad Diallo had finally settled and as a result there were plenty who wanted to see the kid added again this summer.
But Rangers instead opted to move for Rabbi Matondo on a £3m deal from Schalke 04, but the ex-Cercle Brugge star has been unable to make that troublesome right-wing slot his own.

As Amad Diallo begins to net for Sunderland in the Championship, it might have some Rangers fans wondering if their club should’ve took a punt on the youngster.
Amad is highly-rated in the European game and Man United paid an initial £19m to sign the kid from Italians Atalanta with the final transfer potentially set to cost over £37m [BBC Sport].
Meanwhile, Rangers fans have been let down after an approx £8.25m investment into the club.
