Rangers could be raided by Nottingham Forest again with Ross Wilson now keen to land academy director Craig Mulholland.
Nobody really expected Wilson to be leaving the club this week.
Wilson had been under huge pressure in his role as sporting director but Rangers appeared to be fully behind the former Southampton man.
However, Nottingham Forest have come in with an offer that Wilson just couldn’t refuse and the Scot has returned to English football.
That deal has already been confirmed after rapid negotiations and Rangers are left without a sporting director ahead of the summer window.
Wilson has barely had time to process everything but he is already being linked with a raid on Rangers.

Rangers could lose Craig Mulholland
Football Insider now report that Rangers academy director Craig Mulholland could follow Wilson to Nottingham Forest.
It’s stated that Wilson and Mulholland are very close and could reunite at the City Ground.
Forest’s academy Director of Football Development Gary Brazil is out of contract this summer and there has been little word about an extension.
Mulholland may now be viewed as a replacement by Wilson – though a Rangers exit won’t be straightforward for Mulholland.
The Rangers academy director has now been part of the Ibrox ranks since way back in 2003.
Maybe Mulholland will feel it’s time for a new challenge, but there will be a real emotional pull to Rangers after 20 years at Ibrox.
Fans may not be gutted by Wilson’s exit but losing somebody else to Forest would leave Rangers with multiple positions to fill.
That’s not an ideal situation and Rangers will surely try to keep Mulholland at the club.
This may be a case of adding two and two together given Brazil’s uncertain future at Forest but Mulholland’s situation is now one to keep a close eye on.
