Rangers are set to miss out on Hearts teenager James Wilson as he closes in on a move to Leeds United instead.
The Gers are really pushing for more and more young players.
Manchester City teenager Marley Leuluai joined Rangers on trial just a few days ago as he seeks to earn a deal.
Rangers also confirmed the signing of teenager Thompson Ishaka on Friday, handing him a deal until 2025.
Add in the success of 2022 recruits Bailey Rice and Zak Lovelace, and it looks like Rangers have a number of top talents for the future.
Sadly, Hearts youngster Wilson seemingly won’t be joining the list.

Rangers miss out on James Wilson deal
Ross Wilson and co seemingly identified another top prospect in Hearts youngster Wilson.
Wilson was named as the Hearts Academy Player of the Season in May of last year after showing major potential in the Tynecastle ranks.
The 16-year-old attacker was earning huge interest and Rangers seemed to be in a decent position.
The Daily Record reported in December that Rangers had been given permission to hold talks with Wilson.
The move has gone quiet since and it now turns out that Rangers won’t be signing the teenager after all.
It’s now suggested by the Daily Record that Wilson has chosen a move to Leeds United.
The Whites are paying around £120,000 in compensation for Wilson and his family have already been down to West Yorkshire to look at the facilities.
Hearts had offered Wilson a three-year professional deal to stay in Edinburgh but he now seems to be heading to England.
That’s a blow for Rangers but at least Wilson is heading to Leeds rather than Celtic, who were also understood to be interested.
