A Scotsman report has provided an update as Rangers plan to circulate evidence to clubs exposing SPFL wrongdoing.
The Gers have criticised the league association’s actions around the April vote which saw the Championship, League One and League Two seasons brought to an early conclusion amid the global health crisis.

During a meeting between Premiership clubs on Friday, the club’s managing director, Stewart Robertson, reportedly said that evidence would be circulated this week so that clubs could go through the details ahead of an EGM on 12 May [BBC Scotland].
Now, the Scotsman claims there’s been a delay.
It’s alleged that the initial plan had been to send out the dossier on Tuesday. However, the release has been pushed back 48 hours to Thursday as Rangers’ legal advisors are still working on the documentation.
Over the weekend, SPFL chief executive Neil Doncaster strenuously denied any wrongdoing and claimed his organisation has ‘no idea’ what information the Gers had gathered [BBC Scotland].

Verdict
There was already plenty of hype around this topic and a delay in the distribution of the evidence has only heightened the drama.
It looks as though Rangers are trying to make certain their case is watertight before they hand over the details to other clubs.
Senior figures at the club have taken a big risk by taking a stand against the SPFL and any holes in the evidence will likely be ruthlessly pounced on by rival clubs and the media.
It’s now a week until the EGM and reputations are on the line on both sides of the debate.
