Rangers went through something of a reset in the summer with Philippe Clement tasked with cutting the wage bill and age profile of the club.
The squad is younger and more dynamic, however, there are still a few experienced players around to guide them with the manager playing his part in the development process too.
Hamza Igamane was the signing that peaked the most interest, arriving at Rangers with little known about the Morocco Under-23 international, however, the enigmatic striker is now up and running.

The Ibrox faithful got to see the 21-year old from the start against Hibernian but his only real sniff of goal was blazed over the bar.
Unfortunately, most of his teammates were off the boil so service was limited.
Not that Kieran Dowell hasn’t been excited with what he has seen so far:
“Really impressed with him, yeah. Really impressed. He’s obviously only a young lad. But he didn’t get off to the best start of an injury first. But he’s getting his rhythm now and he’s very impressive in training.
“He’s got a lot of power, a lot of pace and I think he’ll be a good signing for us.
“He’s a young lad, but he’s a confident boy. So, I think he’ll take his chances when he gets them.”
Igamane needs fine tuning to be Rangers star
Cyriel Dessers needed a rest and it’s just a shame that Igamane didn’t get the chance that Gers number nine did in the last 10 minutes.
Expectations are still low for Igamane but his availability is vital to helping keep the likes of Dessers fresh.
There was one notable issue against Hibs though.
Looking to get involved, Igamane was seen drifting out to the flanks to pick up possession.
On one occasion, he received the ball on the right, looked up to cross and realised that there was nobody in the box.
Compare and contrast with how Dessers plays and he only gets chalk on his boots chasing long balls or pressing oppositon defenders.
When the ball is out wide, he is always the width of the posts.
Dessers might miss a lot of chances, but rarely does a ball get fired into the box and he is nowhere to be seen.
Igamane needs to learn this lesson.
There are wingers and full-backs who can build play on the wings.
When he is playing, he has to be the focal point of the attack to either create space for others, link play or be on the end of balls into the box.
After all, he’s not going to score goals for Rangers, the thing that all strikers arer judged on, standing on the touchline.
