Real Madrid star Rodrygo tweeted praise for Rangers manager Steven Gerrard after the two clubs clashed in a pre-season friendly at Ibrox on Sunday.
Carlo Ancelotti was without a host of his key men for the trip to Glasgow but several big names were involved.

Four-time Champions League winners Marcelo and Isco both started, as did rapid Brazil winger Rodrygo.
He’s been capped three times at senior international level despite being only 20 and he gave the Rangers fans a glimpse of his considerable ability by opening the scoring with an excellent finish in the eighth minute.
The Los Blancos star would only last an hour in what was his first pre-season run out, but just before the second half started, he took the opportunity to show his respect for Gerrard.
Rodrygo was standing near the touchline just a few yards away from the Gers boss when he caught his eye before approaching him and shaking his hand.

The interaction was picked up on by a Liverpool fan and shared on Twitter and then Rodrygo himself quote tweeted the clip on Monday, captioning it ‘Legend! #Respect’.
It says a lot about how outstanding Gerrard was during his playing days that a player Real Madrid signed for €45m (£38.4m) from Santos when he was still a teenager, was compelled to go over and show respect.
Given that Los Blancos ended up on the losing side against the Gers, there may well be a few in the opposition camp who headed back to Spain with plenty of respect for Gerrard the manager, too.
Meanwhile, an English club are reportedly primed to swoop for a Rangers player who featured against Madrid.
