The Rangers Women side continued their great start to 2019 with yet another victory against Forfar Farmington FC.
The Gers ran out 2-1 winners in a blustery day at Benburb Football Club. And they had to come from behind to do it.
Farmington originally took the lead in the 25th minute through Danielle McGinley after Jade Gallon had missed a penalty for Rangers.

The Rangers midfielder would then atone for the miss with an equaliser before Chantelle Brown scored the winner with 10 minutes to go. It is the Rangers Women side’s third win on the bounce.
The side had previously dumped Stirling University 4-1 in the Scottish Women’s Premier League and Partick Thistle 4-0 in the Scottish Women’s Premier League Cup.
It rounds off what has been a superb week for the Rangers Women. Earlier in the week
Rangers became the first football club in the country to offer modern apprenticeships to female players.

It’s a progressive move by the club and is another example of the pioneering work being done behind the scenes at Rangers.
Concerning the move, Rangers Manager Steven Gerrard told the Rangers website: “It is a big day for Rangers and it is a fantastic scheme that we are trying here, we are the first to do it, which is also very good on the club’s behalf. I am so excited for the young girls.”
