Rangers’ Europa League opponents SC Braga could be in trouble with UEFA after Wolves complained over treatment of their fans when the Premier League side took over 6,000 supporters to Portugal when they faced off in the group stage.
According to the Daily Mail, UEFA officials have scheduled a meeting with Braga after hearing Wolves’ concerns, leading to fears over similar numbers Rangers fans travelling in February.

The report also claims that UEFA are “expected to look at the ticketing plan for the game, the security operation around it and the quality of the stewarding.”
Wolves fans were damning of Braga and the local police, with one fan on Twitter calling it an “absolute joke.”
With Rangers fans set to descend on Portugal in their numbers there will be serious concerns that similar poor organisation will affect the thousands of travelling supporters.

The Gers support have travelled across the continent to support Gerrard’s side in the Europa League and will be hoping for an enjoyable return to Portugal after facing local neighbours Porto earlier in the campaign.
Rangers welcome Braga to Ibrox on February 20th before heading for northern Portugal six days later as they look to secure a place in the last 16.
