Rangers winger Ryan Kent has been pictured back in Rangers training looking raring to go after picking up an injury on his second Rangers debut.

The tricky winger, 22, signed from Liverpool on deadline day in a deal which could reportedly rise to £7.5m [Sky Sports], making him Rangers’ second most expensive signing of all time.

But the excitement around Kent’s unprecedented full-time move to Ibrox was short-lived as last year’s SPFA Young Player of the Year picked up a hamstring injury against Livingston.

As pictured, Kent appears to be fit again and raring to go which will come as a major boost to Rangers and the club’s supporters.

The Ibrox side have been in fine form in the last few weeks, managing to usurp Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership, even without the likes of Kent.

The fact that the winger is still to come back into the side symbolises the great strength in depth that Rangers have across their squad at present.

Joe Aribo is another player who has missed the last few weeks through injury and following a headline-grabbing performance against Brazil for Nigeria will be in line to return against Hearts.

There has been no official suggestion that Kent is back to full fitness and available for selection but the pictures – released on the club’s social media channels – suggest he is back fighting fit.

Could we see him in the squad for this weekend’s tie with Hearts? Or will Steven Gerrard stick with the sort of side which has served him well in the last few weeks?
