A training gallery was uploaded to Rangers.co.uk on Friday, to give Bears a glimpse of preparations for Sunday’s trip to Hearts.

Despite the opposition’s poor start to the season, it’s always tough at Tynecastle and the Gers will need to perform to take three points back to Glasgow.

There’s bad news on the injury front ahead of this one, with Ryan Jack still out with a calf problem.

However, Joe Aribo starred for Nigeria last weekend and is fit to come back in, while Jon Flanagan is also available after over a month on the sidelines.

Another player who can be spotted taking part in the pre-match preparations is Ryan Kent.

The Gers signed the electric winger for a reported £7.5m on deadline day [Sky Sports], but much to the frustration of the fans, they haven’t seen much of him since then.

A hamstring injury sustained late in the first half against Livingston on 14 September has ensured he’s missed the last six matches.

That run could end on Sunday, though.

Given that he’s only been back in training for a matter of days, it’s highly unlikely Gerrard will deploy his man from the start.

Especially, given that he was brought back from a muscle injury too soon whilst on loan last winter.

Yet, there’s a good chance he could make the bench in Edinburgh and match situation dependent, could be unleashed for the final 20-25 minutes with a license to wreak havoc in the final third.
