Rangers winger Daniel Candeias has been pictured at the club’s training ground laughing with Steven Gerrard amid talk of a move away from Ibrox.
The Rangers manager admitted to the press yesterday that he had given Candeias permission to speak to a club in Turkey [Radio Clyde] after an “adult conversation” about minutes this season.
The Turkish club in questions is reported to be Gençlerbirliği [Ajansspor] but there was no sign of unrest today as SNS uploaded some snaps from training.
The pictures show the two men are clearly not at odds with each other and that’s testament to both their professionalism.
The reported interest from Turkey came after Daniel Candeias had been let out of Steven Gerrard’s squad for the matches with St. Joseph’s.
Candeias responded with a double in a friendly against Marseille, which Steven Gerrard called his “best 45 minutes” under the Rangers gaffer [Daily Record].
But Steven Gerrard called for the player to show more consistency and argued that this is part of the problem with the player.

As interest brewed from elsewhere, the Gers gaffer would later explain that he “reluctantly” agreed to let journeyman Candeias speak to the Turkish side.
But going by these photos, absolutely nothing has been decided yet.
