After their finest performance of the season against FCSB in the Europa League, Rangers are looking to get their Scottish Premiership campaign back on track against St Mirren at Ibrox.
Philippe Clement’s side have endured a pretty mixed week.
From the low of that dismal defeat at Kilmarnock to the highs of their biggest European win since 2007 – Vaclav Cerny inspired Rangers’ thrilling victory over the Romanian giants – it remains to be seen which team turns up when St Mirren arrive in Glasgow.
An eternally-inconsistent Rangers side cannot afford to drop more points, falling six points behind Aberdeen and Celtic at the top of the Premiership table.
And the Glasgow giants will be hoping to avoid becoming victims of that so-called ‘new manager bounce’. Sunday’s opponents, St Mirren, have a new boss in the hotseat in the shape of former Motherwell manager Steven Robinson after suffering three successive defeats.
The Paisley outfit were hammered 4-0 by Hearts last time out.
Below, Rangers News has everything you need to know about the Buddies clash, including how to watch on TV, the latest team news, an injury round-up, plus the appointed officials.

Rangers vs St Mirren kick-off time
Rangers welcome St Mirren to an expectant Ibrox on Sunday, October 27 with the kick-off set for 3pm BST.
Rangers vs St Mirren TV channel
Rangers’ ninth match of the new league campaign will not be broadcast live on television.
Sky Sports will instead show the Edinburgh derby between Hibernian and Hearts in Sunday’s lunchtime kick-off before heading to Fir Park. Robinson’s old employers welcome reigning champions Celtic.
Rangers supporters living outside the UK and Ireland can watch the St Mirren clash on RangersTV provided you have an international subscription.
The game will also be broadcast via BBC Sportsound, the radio commentary beginning at 3pm.
Rangers team & injury news
Clement will be sweating on the fitness of both Cyriel Dessers and Tom Lawrence after the duo were subbed off injured against FCSB. If Dessers is unavailable, Hamza Igamane could be handed a rare start up top.
The Moroccan justified comparisons with Rangers icon Alfredo Morelos as he opened his account late on on Thursday.
Lawrence’s absence, meanwhile, could open the door for Mohamed Diomande to start in the number ten role. Diomande replaced the Welshman versus FCSB and set up Vaclav Cerny’s second of the evening.
As far as St Mirren are concerned, meanwhile, Alex Iacovitti Richard Taylor and Kevin van Veen – the striker who was linked with Rangers not so long ago – are all unavailable. Connor McMenamin should return, however.
Referee & VAR
Calum Scott will be the man in the middle on Sunday. The official is yet to ref a Rangers match this season though – a word of warning – he has given out red cards in two of his last three Scottish Premiership matches.
Scott will be assisted by linesmen Dougie Potter and Andy Milne. Greg Aitkin, assisted by Ross Hardie, will be in the VAR truck and hoping for a rather uneventful afternoon on the blue side of Glasgow.
