The RangersTV team has been confirmed for Rangers’ Boxing Day clash against St Mirren [Rangers.co.uk].

The Gers will be taking on the Buddies at Ibrox in front of just 500 fans due to Covid restrictions.

A ballot has already been held to determine who those 500 fans will be, with the rest of the tens of thousands of season ticket holders having to watch from home.

They, naturally, won’t have to pay to access the coverage, and the club have released a guide to redeeming the RangersTV vouchers.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

For Saturday’s 1-0 win over Dundee United, there were a few changes to the usual RTV lineup.

Kate Mason hosted for just the second time, while Tom Miller called the action and ex-Gers defender Alan McLaren was on co-commentator duties.

Two regulars are returning for Boxing Day, though, with Emma Dodds hosting the coverage and Clive Tyldesley back on commentary.

It’s currently unclear who’ll be co-commentating, but joining Dodds in the studio to provide analysis will be Ibrox hero Neil McCann and former Scotland women’s manager Shelley Kerr.

Rangers fans will be hoping for a comfortable win against a St Mirren side depleted by Covid.

Given that the Buddies haven’t won any of their last seven in the league and have had to recall loan players this week in order to cobble together a squad, Gio van Bronckhorst’s men will be confident. Especially on the back of five consecutive domestic clean sheets.

However, Jim Goodwin’s side showed against Celtic in Paisley on Wednesday night that they can still defend stubbornly.

Meanwhile, Rangers are reportedly eyeing a pre-contract swoop for a 28-year-old who is a ‘wonderful professional’.
