The referee has been confirmed for Rangers vs St Johnstone at Ibrox on Wednesday night and the Gers have an outstanding record when he’s in charge.
Rangers will be looking to at least maintain their four-point lead at the top of the Premiership table by defeating a Saints side currently rooted to the bottom.

Second-placed Celtic will be in action at the same time in a tricky away fixture against an in-form Ross County side.
The referee for the Ibrox clash will be Euan Anderson [Scottish FA].
Anderson has worked across the Premiership, Championship and League One so far this season, but this will be his first Rangers match of the campaign.
He’s taken charge of Gers games on 14 previous occasions, though, with the Light Blues winning eleven of them and drawing the other three [Transfermarkt].

Not only are Rangers unbeaten when Anderson is on duty, but he’s also never sent a Rangers player off.
He hasn’t sent an opposition player off either, though, and he’s awarded opponents two penalties while he’s only given the Gers one.
His assistants on the night will be Frank Connor and David Doig, while Alan Newlands will be on Fourth Official duty.
Meanwhile, Rangers have received a big boost in the form of an update from the Joint Response Group.
