On Friday, the details for Rangers’ League Cup semi-final were confirmed.
The Gers sealed their place in the final four courtesy of a 1-0 win over Livingston and they will face Hearts, who defeated Aberdeen on penalties after a 2-2 draw at Tynecastle.

The game will take place on Sunday 3rd November at 3 pm and will be broadcast by BT Sport. Rangers fans will be hoping there are no more ludicrous commentary errors from Chris Sutton this time around.
Due to the decision taken by the SFA to stagger the matches, rather than holding them both on the same day, by the time the Gers take to the pitch at Hampden, they will know their potential opponents in the final.
Celtic and Hibernian face off at 5:30pm, also live on BT Sport.
As shown by his team selection against Livingston during the week, Steven Gerrard is taking the League Cup extremely seriously, and rightly so.
This is a great opportunity for him to pick up his first silverware as Rangers boss, and he’ll be itching to book a spot in his first final at the national stadium.
The Gers succumbed to Aberdeen at this stage in 2018 after a late Lewis Ferguson header. Yet, Umar Sadiq led the line that day, and the manager will hope his new and improved squad is more than capable of coming up trumps this time around.
