Rangers follow up an excellent result in Spain with an important league match with St. Johnstone.

Steven Gerrard spoke about how the league is the priority before the match. The Gers might be flying high in Europe, but it’s important they focus on the league.

If you were to ask the average Rangers fan if it was between the league and Europa League, they’d pick the league every time.

This fledgling Light Blues side have struggled to eight points so far, seven points off front runners Hearts.

Gerrard wants this Rangers team to be “ruthless” and they have a chance to be against St. Johnstone.

The Perthshire club are level on points with Rangers but the Gers might fancy there chances after a big away trip.

This Ibrox side will recall the boisterous Morleos to the squad and look to the Colombian for goals. Alfredo has scored important goals so far this season and he needs to prove he’s the first starter before Lafferty.

It might end being low-scoring, but with this team, Rangers have a real chance of making a statement.
