Rangers v Livi is a fixture we couldn’t be entering off the back of a better win.

The 7-1 dismantling of Motherwell was as one sided a game as you will see at Ibrox this season. It signalled our title intentions, and built up our confidence in scoring goals.

But more than that, it signalled just how much we plan to make Ibrox the ruthless fortress of yore. Teams have to come here and expect nothing.

They have to come here and get nothing.

Expect that freeflowing freight train to ravage Livingston on Saturday too. Whilst it might be a tight cagey affair to begin with, it’s hard to envisage anything but Rangers breaking the Lions resolve eventually.

After that, they could be on to a mauling. It’s the least they deserve – this is no plastic pitch.

Ryan Kent and Borna Barisic are still out. These are valuable players and their absence continues to be a big blow. The eventual return of Barisic could be very telling on the title race too.

But I fully expect Gerrard to largely stick to his guns here. The exclusion being Joe Worrall, who I think will drop to bench for the returning Connor Goldson.

Otherwise, I’m sure it’ll be much the same for Gerrard. There’s no need to change it against Livingston. Give everyone who stepped up against Motherwell the chance to do it here.

Why does Katic retain his place over Worrall? The Croatian was on international duty with the U21s and has real chance here to build momentum. Now I’ve said it, Gerrard will probably end up picking Worrall.

Candeias is back after an eventful few weeks himself but I expect Middleton and Grezda to retain their places.

We need to pick up where we left off. Let’s get goals, goals and more goals.
