By this point Rangers fans will be getting pretty sick of friendlies at Ibrox, but thankfully the visit of Derby County will be the final one before the big kick off.
By full-time against the Rams Rangers will have played four friendly matches at their spiritual home in the month of July.
Steven Gerrard has used them as the chance to get minutes into the legs of players between the club’s early Europa League qualifiers.

The idea is that by the time the club go away to Kilmarnock (04/08) Steven Gerrard’s side will be fit and raring to go.
For that reason, expect a decent level of rotation from Rangers from Thursday night’s match with Progres Niederkorn.
A development side also played a bounce game with Mansfield Town earlier, with Jake Hastie, Jamie Murphy and Greg Stewart all starting the eventual 4-2 defeat.
This hints that whilst they could be involved tomorrow, they’re unlikely to start the game against Phillip Cocu’s side.
The Championship Playoff finalists will present a tough test and Rangers will be looking at putting a competitive team out to win the match.

The game is also significant away from getting minutes into the match for another reason too.
It’ll be the first time Derby County striker and former Rangers star Martyn Waghorn returns to Ibrox since leaving for Ipswich Town in 2017.
