Rangers v Aberdeen is a fixture full of fire and incident and tomorrow night’s match promises to be the exact same. Especially when you consider what’s at stake.
The victors will get a trip to Hampden and the chance to take on Celtic for a place in the final of the Scottish Cup. Rangers fans, in their hunt for silverware, will accept nothing less.
Rangers forced a replay at Ibrox after the first tie ended 1-1. Given how we played at Pittodrie a couple of Sundays ago, we’ll take it.

Now, the fans are expecting a result which will take us to the next stage. Steven Gerrard has a few choices to make on the side to do it.
The Gaffer was noticeably disappointed after the Hibs result but you get the feeling he won’t change much going into this one. In fact I can only envisage one – and it largely depends on whether he’s fit. Borna Barisic may well be preferred to Andy Halliday at left back.
The other dilemma comes in the shape of Alfredo Morelos. Should the striker pick up a yellow he’ll be out of the semi-final.
Is this how Steven Gerrard will line-up against Aberdeen?
