Rangers U18s defeated league leaders Dundee United 3-1 at the Rangers Training Centre on Friday night, with an exciting 15-year-old striker finding the net yet again.
The Young Gers have made a patchy start to their league campaign, winning only two of their opening five matches prior to this meeting with the Terrors.
However, coach Cameron Campbell was able to name a strong-looking starting XI for the fixture, with Robbie Ure, who scored in the recent UEFA Youth League win over Hammarby, leading the line.
There was also a place in the team for 15-year-old Rory Wilson.
The young forward scored a pair of hattricks at this level earlier in the season and featured off the bench in the closing stages of Tuesday’s Youth League match.
It would take him just three minutes to get a goal against United, as he converted a simple chance after Connor Allan had latched onto a defensive error [Rangers Youth Blog].
The hosts doubled their advantage courtesy of a Ure header around half an hour into the contest, but United made things interesting by pulling one back from the penalty spot just prior to the interval.
The second half was a tense affair but an injury-time goal from substitute Tyler Pasnik made the points safe.

It was the first time that the talented Dundee United side had experienced defeat this season.
According to unofficial Twitter account rfcyouths.wordpress.com, the Young Gers are now up to fifth in the nine-team league with nine points from six matches.
