Morgan Whittaker wants to join Rangers from Swansea City
The Daily Record have reported that Rangers wanted to sign Whittaker from Swansea in the January transfer window and remain keen on the 22-year-old winger.
The Scottish Premiership clubs failed with a number of bids, as Swansea did not let him go.
The youngster wanted to move to Rangers in January and remains keen on joining the Gers in the summer of 2023 despite interest from several other clubs in England, according to the report.
View: Exciting for Rangers fans
In our view, that Morgan Whittaker wants to join Rangers is very exciting and encouraging for the Gers.
It means that Rangers will find it easier to negotiate with Swansea now.

True, the Swans did not sell the 22-year-old in the middle of the season, but you have to consider that not many clubs are willing to lose any of their players during a campaign.
This summer it could be different.
Whittaker is not a regular in the Swansea starting lineup, and we do not think that he will want to stay at the Welsh club any longer if he does not get to feature on a regular basis.
Steven Schumacher managed Whittaker during the winger’s loan spell at Plymouth Argyle, and he descried the English youngster as “a diamond” in PlymouthLive in January 2023.
