Rangers will launch season ticket renewals “in coming weeks” as questions continue over the financial situation at Ibrox amid the domestic league shutdown.
That’s according to club insider Four Lads Had a Dream who made the announcement whilst batting down paper talk of a bleak financial future at Ibrox.
Pleading with fans to “ignore the narrative”, they also revealed a special membership scheme will be launched as Rangers look to raise funds for the season ahead.
Should everything go to plan, Rangers will ask their supporters to renew season tickets in the midst of the global health crisis.
The likes of Hibs have already done this with season ticket money vital to the survival of clubs up and down the country.
Rangers boast over 45k season ticket holders with last season’s sales breaking club records.
Whilst it remains to be seen whether all of these season ticket holders can renew, Rangers have one of the most fiercely loyal fanbases in football.
It’s hard to envisage a scenario where supporters who can afford to renew don’t given the delicate financial situation facing football.

Rangers have moved quickly to assure fans that the necessary investment to get through the season has been secured.
A club statement reads: “The funding plan announced at the recent AGM is well advanced, with significant investment already received and further commitments in place” [Rangers].
