Rangers have signed a new kit deal with Glasgow-based plastic fabrication company Carrick Packaging which will see them sponsor the club’s Academy and B team kits in season 21/22.
The deal comes with the Rangers B side set to be admitted into the Scottish Lowland League next season as colt sides are trialled in the country.

This will be the third season in a row that Carrick Packaging have sponsored the club’s Academy and B team kits and according to the club’s official website, the company are passionate about youth development.
The kits will also be on show during Rangers’ UEFA Youth League adventure next season with Director of Commercial and Marketing James Bisgrove lauding the deal.
“We are thrilled to extend our relationship with Carrick Packaging, who remain strongly committed partners of the Rangers Academy,” said Bisgrove.
“Everyone at Rangers is excited for the new era of the B team, as they prepare for their participation in the Lowland League, and the continued support of Carrick Packaging will play an integral role in this campaign and the development of future Rangers first team talent.”
Academy head Craig Mullholland would also describe Rangers as “absolutely delighted” about the partnership and once again talked up the Carrick team’s determination to make a difference in the Academy.
“This relationship is far more than a commercial partnership,” said Mullholland.
“John, Derek and their excellent team are committed to our Academy project and take the same sense of pride in the progress that Nathan Patterson made last season as all of our staff.”
Carrick Packaging Operations Director Derek Warren also spoke about the deal and the support they hope to offer the Gers’ young talent.
“The involvement of Rangers B Team in the Lowland League makes this coming season all the more exciting,” said Warren.
“The Carrick team are looking forward to giving the young Gers our support in what is a really good quality league packed with experienced players.”

Rangers continue to strike a range of commercial partnerships which will directly benefit the club with Carrick’s logo to adorn the Academy and B teams’ shirts next season.
One of the club’s major partners also launched a new initiative this week which will see supporters directly trade cryptocurrency – and support the club in the process.
