High-profile Rangers target Ryan Kent had been named as part of a 16-man Liverpool squad who will report to their Melwood training ground on Saturday morning.
According to the This is Anfield, Kent will be one of only three attackers in the squad as Jurgen Klopp gives some of his players extended time off for international tournaments.
It’s a big step in Rangers pursuit of the winger, with Klopp set to run the rule over Kent during the next few weeks.
Rangers have made no secret of their desire to see Ryan Kent return to Ibrox next season.

Reports have suggested that Liverpool are holding out for a permanent transfer of the player, who Rangers could realistically only secure on-loan.

But with the likes of reported suitors Leeds United having secured wingers from elsewhere, there appears to be less competition for the winger.
Should Liverpool be unable to sell Kent in this window – the player is contracted to Anfield until 2022 – then he could well return to Ibrox.
That’s if he doesn’t impress Jurgen Klopp that much over the next few weeks of Liverpool training that the German decides to keep him at Anfield.
