Rangers remain in communication with Borussia Dortmund and UEFA as the Europa League playoff fixture edges ever closer and fans are not certain whether they will be able to attend the match.
At present, only 750 supporters are allowed to watch football in the state of North-Rhein Westphalia, and this would mean no Rangers supporters would be able to see the match from inside the stadium.

The club released a statement recently that confirmed they were doing all they can to keep the fans aware of the scenario ahead of the tie.
“Rangers remain in regular dialogue with Borussia Dortmund, UEFA, and the authorities in North-Rhein Westphalia,” read the opening line [Rangers].
“As it stands, a maximum of only 750 supporters are permitted to attend football matches in the state.
“The situation may evolve between now and matchday with other states moving at different speeds, and we will endeavour to keep our supporters up-to-date on any developments.
“It goes without saying we fully understand and empathise with the frustration our supporters are finding in this matter given the significance and standing of the fixture.”
Rangers could face Borussia Dortmund in Germany without any away support
This is Rangers biggest European tie in years, and the thought of there being no away support is frustrating as many would want to travel and experience the atmosphere of the Westfalenstadion.
Dortmund has received 2,700 tickets for the tie at Ibrox and this should generate a good atmosphere in the stadium. It’s a shame that the tie may be potentially ruined due to the restrictions still in place in Germany.

Hopefully, talks remain positive and some sort of agreement can be reached before February 17.
Meanwhile, Rangers legend All McCoist has recently praised wonderkid Amad Diallo.
