Rangers have surged ahead in a Europa League Twitter poll with thousands of users throwing support behind Steven Gerrard’s men ahead of their Round of 32 second-leg clash with Royal Antwerp.
The Gers triumphed 4-3 in the first leg at the Bosuilstadion last week and face their Belgian opponents for the second and final time on Thursday evening at Ibrox.

Gerrard is without several key players for the contest, namely James Tavernier, Ryan Jack and Kemar Roofe.
However, while the visitors have forward Didier Lamkel Zé back available, three big players failed to recover from injury in time to be included in the travelling party, making Franky Vercauteren’s side’s quest to win by two clear goals in Glasgow even more difficult.

A slender aggregate advantage and four away goals ensure the Gers are very much favourites to secure a spot in the Last 16 and that is reflected by the statistics from a poll created by the official UEFA Europa League Twitter account.
At the time of writing, a whopping 5578 votes had been cast, with 84.9% of voters backing Rangers to progress.
It looks like being a resounding victory for Rangers over The Great Old on social media and supporters will hope that the players can once again deliver on a big European night under the lights at Ibrox.
If the Gers can match last year’s effort by progressing to the next round, they will receive a substantial cash reward from UEFA.
