Todd Cantwell has continued to do plenty of talking off the pitch since leaving Rangers.
But maybe, just maybe, he is starting to do it off the pitch too.
Blackburn Rovers snapped the attacking midfielder up near the end of the summer window and manager John Eustace talking him up, insisting Cantwell was his number one target.
The 26-year-old aimed a swipe at Philippe Clement after leaving but more recently was hinting he would like a return to Rangers one day.
He was branded a ‘magician’ as he was named in the Championship team of the week, but Cantwell then claimed he wasn’t yet at his bet and was only playing at 70 per cent.
But others continue to praise him and the latest to do so his manager.

John Eustace lucky to have Todd Cantwell at Blackburn
Todd Cantwell scores his first Blackburn goal on Saturday, the winning goal against Leeds United.
It came from the penalty spot and Eustace was delighted to see him get off the mark even though he was already chuffed with what he was bringing to the table.
In fact, the Rovers boss insists the former Rangers man is helping the team “evolve” and they are lucky to have hime.
He told the Lancashire Telegraph, he said: “I don’t mind who takes the penalties as long as they put it away. It is important Toddy is off the mark now.
“It is his first goal for the club which is a big thing, I think it had been playing on his mind a tiny bit. He could have scored a couple more but he is getting in the right areas. He is playing some fantastic football.
“He is really a focal point for us now. He is helping us evolve as a footballing team and we are fortunate that he is here.”
Cantwell aimed dig at Clement
Cantwell was recently hinting he wouldn’t mind an Ibrox return.
But before that he had aimed a veiled dig at Philippe Clement.
“In terms of managers that I’ve had so far, he’s (Eustace) the most relatable,” Cantwell told the Sun.
“I say that because when I hear him speak it makes sense all the time.
“When I spoke to him, we had complete clarity on the two positions that I could bring the best version of myself in.
“They are positions I’ve played in since I’ve been here so far, the number 10 and left-winger.
“The way the manager wants a left winger is very similar to how Daniel Farke wanted me at Norwich.
“I’ve had three seasons in the Championship and I’ve got out of it every time, so I’ve been on the end of success.
“Behind closed doors I always think I can get the best out of people, so hopefully my experience is dripping off me.”
