Rangers have struck a stadium deal with SPFL League One club Dumbarton ahead of the B team’s entry into the Lowland League.
On Tuesday morning, it was confirmed in a historic fixtures announcement that the young Gers will play all of their home matches at the C&G Systems Stadium, which is around half an hour from Glasgow City Centre.
A Rangers B or ‘Colts’ team hasn’t been involved in a competitive domestic league since they withdrew from the SPFL Reserve League in 2019, so there was likely a great deal of anticipation around the fixtures announcement for players and staff alike.
Their campaign kicks off on 17th July with a home match against Bo’ness United at 3pm [Slfl.couk].

That’s followed by back to back away trips to face the Spartans and East Stirlingshire on the 20th and the 24th.
The two Old Firm clashes will take place on 31st July and 1st January, with both matches scheduled to kick off at 3pm.
Celtic have also struck an agreement with an SPFL club, with the Hoops’ B team set to play their matches at Airdrieonians’ Penny Cars Stadium.
The young Gers’ squad is likely to consist mainly of players who were involved in the recent U18s CAS League win but the club haven’t yet confirmed who will coach the team after previous manager Kevin Thomson left to take charge of Kelty Hearts.
