Mason Munn replaced Liam Kelly between the sticks with Rangers goalkeeper Jack Butland still working his way back to fitness after a shock internal bleed at the turn of the year.

The young Northern Irish goalkeeper will be making his debut in the match.

James Tavernier however steps up his recovery by returning to the Rangers starting XI, with Jefte starting at left-back.

Clinton Nsiala continues at centre-back for Rangers whilst Robin Propper is passed fit to play against Fraserburgh.

In midfield, Rangers start with Mohamed Diomande alongside Connor Barron, with Nedim Bajrami starting in the number ten role.

Ross McCausland then comes in from the start on the right-wing with Cyriel Dessers starting up top and Zak Lovelace starting off the left.

Youth gets chances for Rangers

Rangers clearly have one eye on the trip to play Manchester United in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

The fact the club are playing Fraserburgh will allow them to rest the likes of Ridvan, Vaclav Cerny and Hamza Igamane whilst giving Leon Balogun time to regain his fitness.

The Scottish Cup clash with Fraserburgh also represents an ideal opportunity for several young players in the team to impress.

With Mason Munn and Zak Lovelace given starts, the likes of Finlay Curtis and Bailey Rice could also get minutes and the opportunity to impress from the bench.
