The comments of Rangers star Alfredo Morelos eulogising his teammates as he accepted a Player of the Month award highlight the togetherness which has formed the crux of the club’s success this season.
Rangers are the Champions of Scotland and Morelos has played a hugely influential role in the business end of the season coming up big for the club since the turn of the year.
The Gers’ achievements this season have been as a result of huge team sacrifice and effort with everybody chipping in some capacity in the hunt for 55.
Morelos hit three Scottish Premiership goals in March and even broke his Celtic duck, but the striker is adamant it couldn’t have happened without his teammates.
“I owe everything to them,” said Morelos [Rangers].
“They are the key to everything I do on the pitch and in training.
“Their support for me is unconditional and I really appreciate it so much. I am really happy to score goals and to give as much support to my teammates as they give to me.
“I am very happy for me and for the team.
“This is a big moment and I am so happy for me and for my family and I want to say thank you for the award. “I think the whole team has been focused on winning the league since the beginning.
“We played our hearts out in every league game and we have also had a good Europa League campaign.
“I am really pleased as we managed to win the league so early – it is something very positive for the club, we know we have done really well and we are really happy.”

The Gers are 20 points clear in the Scottish Premiership and the season may well not be over yet with the club still unbeaten in the league and a Scottish Cup campaign to come.
Ahead of a crunch period of the season, the club has also been boosted by two key players seemingly coming through the international break without injury.
