Accies took three points from their trip to Ibrox in March but they were totally outclassed at the weekend, despite manager, Steven Gerrard, making a number of changes to his Rangers side.

Allan McGregor, Steven Davis and Alfredo Morelos were amongst those to be rested, while both Ryan Jack and Borna Barisic were taken off at half-time.

Those who did play certainly took their chances to impress, though, and eight of the starting lineup made the WhoScored.com Premiership Team of the Week.

Joe Lewis of Aberdeen was named in goal, but the entire back four is made up of Gers stars in James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Leon Balogun and Barisic.

In midfield, Celtic’s Mohamed Elyounoussi breaks up the blue domination following his hat-trick against Motherwell, but he’s joined by Scott Arfield, Joe Aribo and Kemar Roofe.

Up top, Jermain Defoe is included, despite his failure to find the net, with the veteran accompanied by Sam Cosgrove of Aberdeen.

So fine were the performances of James Tavernier and Kemar Roofe, that both players were awarded 10/10 ratings. They each scored a brace and registered an assist, while the third player to net a double, Joe Aribo, received a score of 9.9.

It’s the latest showing of dominance from Rangers, after the Premiership Player and Manager of the Month awards were picked up by Connor Goldson and Steven Gerrard respectively, and the club enters the international break top of the table following six consecutive league wins.
