The agent of Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is in Glasgow amid reports linking the player with the likes of Serie A Fiorentina and Ligue 1 Lille.
The Daily Record are now reporting that World in Motion agent Michael Gorman is in Glasgow and could be set for crunch talks with Rangers in the coming days.
The Ibrox club are said to be holding out for £20m for the striker and have already played hardball with Morelos during this transfer window.
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard dropped the forward for the visit of Kilmarnock before reinstating him into the squad for the trip to Hamilton a week later.
The Colombian didn’t get off the bench at New Douglas Park but did eventually appear for the club in the 4-0 win over Dundee United this weekend.
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard also spoke to RangersTV after the game and suggested he would like to see the player remain in Glasgow.
“If there is one aspect of where we can improve it’s to be more clinical and more ruthless,” said Gerrard [RangersTV].
“What I would say is we’re still waiting for (Cedric) Itten to get up to speed, he’s had his injury setback, Kemar Roofe hasn’t played much before he came in, Alfredo (Morelos) has had his situation so we’re still waiting for our No. 9s to get really sharp.
“What we’ve tried to do is learn from where we’ve went wrong in the past.
“Maybe we didn’t have enough tools in the final third or enough people to change it or enough behind us when we’ve needed it at important times of the games.
“What will be interesting is if we can keep them all in the door, and if we can get them all up to speed it’ll be interesting.”
Rangers striker Morelos was stretchered off against the Arabs but Steven Gerrard remains hopeful the player could return to the team for the trip to Lincoln Red Imps in the Europa League this week.
