Rangers star Ryan Kent reportedly wants “improved terms” on his contract amid high-profile transfer links to the likes of Leeds United.

That’s according to Give Me Sport, who acknowledge that Kent has no immediate appetite to leave Ibrox but believe the player’s camp are “chasing improved terms”.

Worryingly, the report also claims that it remains to be seen if Rangers can match the 24-year-old’s demands to become one of the club’s top earners.

Kent is coming off the back of a very strong season in Light Blue where he started on fire and ended on form with some indifferent performances in between.

The two-footed attacker is a real menace and the jewel in Rangers’ attacking crown, something evidenced by not only his sparkling dribbling displays but also his numbers this season.

Kent had his best-ever season in front of goal and in terms of assists, netting 13 times and laying on 15 assists in 52 games this season.

A key player for this Rangers side, the winger is showing exactly why the Ibrox club splashed out £7m to bring him to Glasgow from Liverpool in 2019 after a successful loan spell at the club.

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa is said to be a long-term admirer of Kent and even tried to sign the player during his Liverpool days.

The Argentine would then fail with a reported £10m move last season with the Scottish Sun and Alan Nixon now reporting that the Elland Road club is lining up a £15m move this campaign.

That will not be enough to entertain most Rangers fans with Kenty having a £25m price tag attached to him earlier last season.
