Rangers star sends Ibrox fans into delerium as he makes “treble” claim

Rangers star Alfredo Morelos can do no wrong in the eyes of the Ibrox support and the club’s fans were once again delighted to see the striker conduct a post-match interview.

Morelos, 24, hasn’t always been a majorly public face for Rangers as he has accustomed to the English language but after the Colombian was named Man of the Match against St Mirren he was back in front of the cameras.

Speaking to RangersTV, the talented forward – who scored the second goal in a 3-0 win – looked delighted as the club edged one step closer to 55.

The striker – who has eight goals in eleven games – also claimed the club have a treble in their sights with the Scottish Cup and the Europe League to come.

“Very happy today, the team played well again,” said Morelos.

“The Champions, very, very happy for the team, the staff, now enjoy today and we focus for the next game.

“I’m very happy, every game I score or assist, we’re going for the treble now and every game I’m the same, give 100%, play well for the team and the manager, I thank for the opportunity to play, it’s good for me.”

The darling of the Ibrox support, Rangers star Morelos earned the applause of Rangers fans with his comments as they applauded a player who’s been through a lot at Ibrox:

The impressive result leaves Rangers within a point of the title with the Gers clinching the trophy should Celtic fail to win at Tannadice tomorrow.
