Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has sent a defiant message on Instagram as fears continue around his contract and the Ibrox squad toil for confidence.
Gers fans are still waiting to see the best of the striker since a five-month injury lay-off and Morelos took to Instagram to send a positive claim about coming out the other end of a negative spell.
Certainly looking fitter and more focused than the Colombian has been as of late, Morelos said “sometimes a bad break is the start of something better”.
Rangers fans will be hoping this is a message about a shift in approach from Alfredo Morelos who has struggled to impose himself in the Ibrox starting XI this season.
Croatian striker Antonio Colak holds the striker berth for now and so far this season Alfie has struggled to break back into the team, even he has been more often than not preferred in the Champions League.
So far a return of two goals this season has been underwhelming and it’s also given rise to fears regarding Alfredo Morelos’ contract affecting his form.

The striker was infamously dropped ahead of the Champions League Playoff against PSV Eindhoven and alongside Ryan Kent is in the final year of his contract.
Links elsewhere have dominated Alfredo Morelos’ Rangers career and with talk of moves to teams in Europe plenty are wondering if the striker already has his eye on the exit door.
But this Alfredo Morelos Instagram message suggests he’s ready to fight for the Rangers jersey whilst Giovanni van Bronckhorst provided a contract update regarding both players heading into the Motherwell game.
What’s more, the Motherwell manager believes the situation is not impacting the player negatively.
“Of course you want your players to sign contracts sooner than later but you need two sides to agree,” said van Bronckhorst [Rangers].
“We had the same situation with Connor Goldson where he did not sign a contract during the season but then did so in the summer.
“We have to wait and see what will happen in the coming months or even in the summer.
“Ryan is in and out of the game. He is improving his performances but I don’t think that is due to his contract talks.
“Alfredo is different because he came from a long-term injury. I don’t think the talks are affecting them. They are both players who want to improve.”
Meanwhile, Rangers are facing huge injury problems with up to 12 players currently sidelined.
