Rangers star Ryan Kent has been spotted back in training with the Ibrox first-team as he returned to the training ground of former club Liverpool.

The Ibrox winger set heart rates racing amongst the Gers support after he was posted missing from early pre-season snaps as the club’s first-team returned to training.

Amid prominent exit links to the likes of Leeds United it had a few chewing their fingernails but the situation surrounding the tricky winger was settled during the week.

Stevie Clifford, who runs the Four Lads Had a Dream fan blog, confirmed on Heart & Hand this week that the absence was down to an injury.

This had Kenty training inside the Rangers Training Centre but he has now joined up with his teammates ahead of what promises to be a hectic pre-season run.

Steven Gerrard and his backroom staff were also back at the Liverpool training centre as the Gers prepare to face off against Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park tomorrow afternoon.

Stevie G and Gary McAllister are Anfield legends and will have pulled some strings to get the Gers team into the state-of-the-art facilities.

Rangers are stepping up their pre-season schedule ahead of the new campaign and kicked off their preparations with a 1-0 win over Partick Thistle.

Following the match against Tranmere, the club will host Arsenal at Ibrox before travelling to Blackpool a week on Wednesday.

The Gers will then host Brighton at Ibrox before welcoming Real Madrid in a corker of a glamour friendly on home turf.

Here’s how Real Madrid fans have been reacting to the news that one of the biggest names in world football will turn out in Glasgow… against their team.
