Rangers star Joe Aribo has been rated as the Premiership Player of the Month for September by WhoScored.com.
Aribo had a disrupted pre-season but has featured in all but one of the Gers’ fixtures in all competitions so far this campaign and really hit his stride last month.

Rangers struggled in the final third in their three league assignments across the month, scoring just three times from open play.
Aribo was involved in two of those, though, with his flick-on assisting Fashion Sakala’s maiden goal for the club in a 1-1 draw with Motherwell and his cool 16th-minute finish at Dundee on Saturday securing all three points for the visitors.
The 25-year-old earned a rating of 7.65 for the month, 0.04 better than second-placed Cameron Carter-Vickers of Celtic.
Rangers captain James Tavernier also made the WhoScored.com (via Sky Sports) top-performing XI as the highest-rated right-back in the league in September.
He scored a superb late winner in a 2-1 triumph at St Johnstone in the Gers’ first game of the month and helped his team keep a clean sheet at Dens Park.
The 29-year-old’s rating for the month was 7.33.

The other players to make the XI were Max Stryjek (Livingston), Ryan Edwards (Dundee United), Scott McMann (Dundee United), Liel Abada (Celtic), Ian Harkes (Dundee United), Scott Tanser (St Mirren), Liam Boyce (Hearts) and Jamie McGrath (St Mirren).
The accolade is a good reward for Aribo, who has been working hard to become more effective in the final third for the Gers, while Tavernier’s inclusion in the XI shows that despite the complaints of some fans, he’s still doing a very good job for Steven Gerrard at right-back.
Both players are likely to start when the Light Blues take on Hibernian at Ibrox on Sunday.
In other news, a former Rangers star could make an imminent return to Ibrox.
