Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has moved within one goal of a legendary century for the Ibrox side after netting the winner against Hibs.
The Colombian firebrand headed home from a Borna Barisic cross to secure all three points for Rangers and cap an impressive comeback against 10-man Hibs in the Scottish Premiership.

The goal was Morelos’ 99th in a Rangers jersey and now the striker stands within one strike of becoming the first South American player to join the Ibrox 100 club.
Morelos will also be only the second non-Briton to reach the total – the other being South African Penalty King Johnny Hubbard – and only the third player this century.
The other two are Kenny Miller and Kris Boyd.
It is a monumental achievement by Morelos and once that 100th goal flies in it is sure to etch the 25-year-old striker’s name into Ibrox history.
Morelos is in his fifth year at Ibrox having joined the Gers from HJK Helsinki in a £1m deal back in 2017 during the ill-fated reign of Pedro Caixinha.
Alongside Ryan Jack and James Tavernier, Morelos is the only survivor from that squad and since then his game has gone on to develop massively with the player now the most valuable striker in the country.
Whatever happens beyond this season for Morelos is anyone’s guess – the player is almost perpetually linked with a move away every window – but for now the player is on the precipice of Ibrox history.
Scoring 100 goals for any side is a remarkable feat but for a young forward coming from South America via Scandinavia to Scotland there’s certainly an extra dimension to this achievement.
Next up for Rangers is a clash with Hearts at Ibrox in a fortnight’s time and Morelos will have his eyes set on this match to reach the legendary century.
